Wedding Ceremony venue - (Drumshanbo)

There is ample parking available opposite the Church.
Getting to Drumshanbo from Cork by Car (approximate Journey time 4 Hours)
1. Depart Cork: Take the M8 motorway northbound.
2. Join the M7: Merge onto the M7 westbound towards Portlaoise.
3. Exit M7 at Junction 18: Take the N80 towards Tullamore.
4. Join the M6: Continue on the N52 and merge onto the M6 motorway. Follow signs for Dublin/Mullingar.
5. Exit at Junction 4 (Tyrrellspass). Follow the N52 and continue towards Mullingar.
6. For the love of God, do not go into Mullingar. Stay on the N52 and follow signs for N4 Sligo.
7. Join the N4 at Junction 15 and follow signs for Sligo.
8. Optional: When passing through Newtown Forbes, we recommend playing "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica. This is available through most streaming services.
9. Enter Carrick on Shannon. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit (R280) and follow signs for Drumshanbo.
10. Drumshanbo: Continue on the R280 until you reach Drumshanbo. Follow local signs to St Patrick's Church.
Getting to Drumshanbo from Dublin by Car (approximate Journey time 2 Hours 15 Mins)
1. Depart Dublin: Take the M4 motorway heading west towards Sligo.
2. Join the N4: Continue on the M4 as it becomes the N4. Stay on the N4 and follow signs for Sligo.
3. Optional: When passing through Rathowen, we recommend playing "Raining Blood" by Slayer. This is available through most streaming services.

Getting from Drumshanbo to Lough Rynn Castle by Car (Approximate Journey Time 40 minutes)
1. Depart Drumshanbo: Return to Carrick on Shannon on the R280.
2. Enter Carrick on Shannon, turn left and follow signs for Dublin N4.
3. After approximately 8km, follow signs for Mohill/Lough Rynn Castle and turn left onto R201.
4. Follow the R201 for 9km - this will bring you through the town of Mohill.
5. After Centra in Mohill, turn right onto L1053 and follow signs for Lough Rynn Castle.
6. After 1.5km, the entrance to Lough Rynn Castle Estate is on the right hand side.

Lough Rynn Castle
Our reception will take place at Lough Rynn Castle and all rooms in the Castle have been reserved for wedding guests at a special rate including breakfast. There are also a number of 3-bedroom self-catering houses that can be reserved within the grounds.
It is not possible to book rooms or houses online and bookings must be made directly through the hotel. Please mention that you are attending Rachel and Joe's wedding when booking over the phone.

The Hotel reception should be able to assist you if you require a taxi, but it is highly recommended to book a taxi in advance. We have not organised a bus service as was not enough interest.
